There has been a long time for me not doing any writing over here, even if I want it like crazy. I just can’t do so. I feel like refueled jet plane right now, and I decide to write Templatic Themes Review, I am using one of their product right now, called ShowStopper Theme.
Aside from that, I just moved this website into a new hosting, the old one just seems unfit. InMotion Hosting is my choice finally, after seeing and confused by lot of resource and review, this is where I crashed. This movement also feels like a start over jump for me, for long time I want to use hosting provider known globally rather than my local hosting provider.
Templatic Themes Review
I have been a long time affiliate member for Templatic Themes, but never really doing anything like writing a post about them before. Until recently I bought a theme over there, use the theme here and put the affiliate link on the footer.
Originally I bought Anchor theme, but because there is a promo where I can get a free theme after buying one, I pick ShowStopper Theme as the bonus theme.
I like the design very much, it’s clean, modern, responsive just like the standard requirement of a theme nowadays. More over it can be used on any circumstances and possibilities, I can use it as a blogging themes, portofolio themes, magazine and even e-Commerce.
There are also numerous custom widgets available, homepage template and slider that will make your website looks more professional, not just like a blog. See ShowStopper Theme page on Templatic Themes and you can imagine every possibilities you will have in hand. For me, I just set it up simple stupid like ordinary blog 😛
ShowStopper Themes Cons
Nothing is perfect, despite it’s modern design and almost unlimited layout possibilities, I found that some elements of the theme is not working perfectly as it should be. 1). Breadcrumb above every single post is not working, it always mark the current post category as un-categorized, but the post meta below the post content will display the post’s category correctly.
2). The site navigation on the header is set to appear both on single page/post and archive, but it is not showed in single post view. I don’t know how this could be happened, as on previous setup on my old host it works perfectly.
Final Templatic Themes Review
Based on those factors, and the fact that I only using two of so many Templatic Themes product – but all two are lack in details – I can say that the theme is not really good. I hope I can give a good contribution from this templatic themes review, for bloggers who consider buying one you will get a true experience from a fellow blogger. And for Templatic Themes they will know where to improve their themes too.
In the near future I hope I will be able to write a review about InMotion Hosting too. Stay Tunes and thanks for reading. 🙂
